Four Paws Dog Groming By Joann

Not A Trust Worthy Groomer

I had been taking Jay-Jay to "Four Paws Dog Groming By Joann" for all of his groomings (I believe it was a total of 4). That is until the summer of 2006 when I picked Jay-Jay up from the groomer and saw that his entire underside was razor burned! The irritation and scabbing (especially around his private region) was so bad that I had to take him to the vet and where was given antibiotic ointment. I immediately questioned the groomer and she denied any wrong-doing, and proceeded to tell me that I must have done something to him to casue his razor burns. The shop was very busy that day and I believe that JJ's burn was because the groomer was just to busy and went to fast. If this was the case, which I believe it was, the groomer should have let me know so I could reschedule for a less crowded day. This is not the kind of groomer I want taking care of my dog. There was no offer of compensation for the botched grooming or my vet expenses. I DO NOT recommend this groomer to anyone due to her lack of concern and blatant disregard for the health of her canine clients.
