An excellent rescue organization

I am a puppy mill survivor. My mom adopted me after I was rescued from a puppy mill in Kaufman, Texas in 2009 and I am soooooo grateful! Mom says she was so happy I was saved for this family that she wanted to help save other puppy mill refugees. Since we live in Oklahoma, Mom did some research and we just became a foster family for OK Yorkie Rescue. After reading some information from other foster parents and reading about some past foster pups who went on to their forever homes, we think OKYR really cares. Many of the dogs fostered and adopted through OKYR are puppy mill survivors like me. If you've never heard of that, do a search on puppy mills and you will see why rescue groups like OKYR are special to furry kids like us and why mom wanted to be a part of the effort to help us find loving forever homes.
