Not Recommended - Messed Up Our Dog's Medication

This October we left our dog at The Pet Shack Resort for eight days. When we picked him up we learned that they had doubled one of the seizure prevention medications he gets for epilepsy. He was very groggy, and during his stay we think he fell and reinjured a hip that he has had problems with in the past (likely because he was so groggy from the overdose). Anyone who has dealt with epileptic dogs knows that they are very sensitive to their medication. As of now it is two weeks later and our dog is still not right. We also were able to determine that they doubled a second pill (just a vitamin) by the fact that they ran out during his stay. They should have had enough for the entire time, but ran out after 4 days. We are very concerned about our dog's health, so whenever we leave him somewhere we are always very careful to explain his medication. When I picked him up on a Saturday I asked for the owner to call me when she got back in the following week. She did not call Monday, and I attempted to call The Pet Shack several times Tuesday with no answer. I finally left a message Tuesday night and then talked to the owner on Wednesday. Her first reaction was to blame us. During our conversation she was very rude (raising her voice and interrupting me several times), and the called ended with her hanging up on me. It's bad enough that they messed up our dog's medication and health, but the poor customer service on top of it just adds insult to injury.
