“Our mission: SCOOP is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to reducing suffering and overpopulation among cats through non-lethal methods. We are completely staffed by volunteers. All proceeds benefit the medical care of rescued cats and a no-cost spay/neuter community program called Prevent A Litter (PAL). SCOOP does not have a shelter and therefore, we do not do active rescue. Our focus is to offer free spay /neuter and vaccination vouchers to those who help stray or feral cats. While we do not provide direct trap-neuter-return (TNR) services, we provide education and consultation to those interested in helping stray and feral cats. We do not take pet cats relinquished for any reason, but will assist owners in finding their cat a new home through our re-homing program.”
