“Nice park with a fenced off-leash dog area. In other parts of the park outside of the run, dogs are supposed to be leashed according to the rules. Good size run, even very energetic dogs can get plenty of exercise. Double-gated entry. Waste bags and trash can for doggy doo-doo. No water fountain available, so bring your own bottles or jugs. There are metal water bowls already there. Two benches inside the run and two picnic tables outside. No shade makes midday very hot in the summer; summer evenings are cooler thanks to shade from nearby trees. Rules are posted on the fence (pick up any waste from your dog(s), dogs must have rabies shots, no unattended dogs, no dogs under 4 months old, etc.) Park closes at sunset. To reach the off-leash area, drive into the park as far as you can, park in the gravel lot next to the soccer fields, then walk up the path. Dog run will soon be visible on the left (there are brown signs indicating the off-leash area). There are restrooms, but they are located near the entrance of the park and not near the dog run. ”
Great place to play!We go here almost every day if the weather allows. We don't have a fenced in yard so this is almost a necessity for us. The park has nice trails for dogs and humans and the off-leash area usually has a good mix of dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes, which is great to help socialize a young dog. |
