“off leash dog park”
FunWe went in the 25 lbs and under, heard there is also a seperate run for larger dogs. Fun place, fenced in, benches within and outside the fence. Gets a bit dirty, muddy wish there was more grass or pebbled. Fun to watch the doggies, only annoyance was other peoples children :) and I have 2 young boys. No fee was asked for. |
Fees and Other Thoughts...If you don't have a Suffolk County Greens Card, then there is a parking fee in place from about 10 am to 4 pm - we usually go after 4, so it hasn't really been an issue for us. (This might also only be in Summer - although I'm not certain about that!) The people and doggies are friendly and Princess has a good time walking, romping, sniffing and playing! You must walk your dog ON-LEASH from the parking lot to the fenced in doggie area, because there is a picnic area and children's playground where the doggie isn't allowed! posted: August 15th, 2007 |
