Burlington Co. Animal Shelter

This is the place where my husband and I found Pumpkin Puss. The facility is clean, the dogs and cats all seem to be taken care of quite well., and the staffers are friendly and knowledgeable. One woman, in particular, did an outstanding job in taking care of PP at the shelter. I forgot her name, but I think a major reason why Pumpkin Puss is so friendly and well-adjusted is because of her. We didn't go through too much paperwork in the adoption. The criteria could've been a bit stricter, but I'm glad that we didn't have to jump through endless hoops to adopt our cat. It took about a week, from the tour and selection to the final trip home with our new dividend, to complete the process. They provided us critical information on our cat's health care management (such as when he should get his rabies shot, and dates for the free clinic), and made sure he was ok enough to go with us (he was fixed just a few weeks before we took him home). All in all, we're very happy with them, and would like to go back and adopt another feline.
