“Tucked away towards the back of Donaldson Park, this fenced in off-leash dog park is packed nightly with dogs both new and regulars who come almost every day. It's a round fenced in and spacious area with double fence doors to prevent doggie escapes. About 1,000 square feet. Water fountain and doggie pick up bags provided along with three benches and a little bit of shade. Get to know the regulars and participate in periodic group hikes with the dogs on chosen Sundays! ”
Well monitored and funThis dog park is a local un-guarded secret! There's fresh water for those using the park (summer only) but most importantly the people who come there are great. They monitor their dogs and if some pup is having an "off" day they go home - unlike so many other dog parks where a dog starts getting aggressive and nothing is done. This park is truly a gem! And if you attend regularly you'll get to know the people. They even have weekend hiking trips (off-site) for those who are interested. 1 pet found this review helpful |
Pawsome!!Been coming since 8 weeks old, and I have my good and bad days. Mom has made friends with the cool dog owners there, and I am only traumatized once in a while.. bol! Apparently corgis look like rabbits to big, hunting dogs! 1 pet found this review helpful |
