Vet SchoolGreat place to go for major injuries or medical conditions. Cost is way below average vet and quality of treatment is the same if not better! |
Wonderful facility! We can't praise this teaching hospital enough. Granted, if one is not local, being seen requires a reference from your regular vet or specialist. But the care that our cat received far surpassed our expectations. Everyone -- the surgeons, the techs, the residents, students, and client services -- were just outstanding. Treatments are definitely on the cutting edge -- don't let the humble waiting room fool you: The doctors and students are anything but low-tech! Our cat, Malaika, was a patient of internal medicine for one year, and she was treated like gold (as are all of the animals who are seen). The longest that she had to stay was for a five-week period, during which she was shown constant love and affection (which we all know to be crucial elements of healing). Also, most every hotel in the area is animal-friendly (or they offer a discounted rate for parents of animals being treated at NCSU-VTH). Questions? Feel free to drop me an e-mail! |
