Still waiting...

Though we've been with Banfield for 5+ years, and love the Wellness Plan, we're increasingly frustrated with the wait times. It takes 20 minutes to check-in, and then you wait. You're encouraged to drop the dog & come back for him later, then wait in line for 30 minutes to check out and pick him up. At that point, you're too frustrated to remember to ask the vet about anything of the small "the next time we're there, let's ask..." sort of stuff. If you do, the most common advice is "Let's wait and see." Whether you make an appointment in advance, or call to see if there's an immediate opening, you arrive to find that there is either an emergency, or a back-up, and an hour wait. (We understand emergencies, but when 9 out of 10 visits you're told there is an emergency, there is an underlying issue with staffing!) We're looking at switching vets, but really don't want to lose the Wellness Plan. Please bring back the Banfield we originally signed up with! Buska & Tucker

Banfield Review

Banfield turns over their vets so fast-- I don't know if it is more at this location than any other-- but it creates a problem with having a vet get to know your dog-- or them listening to the owner (cause our hooman's know more about what is normal for us...). We have had several bad experiences here as have our cousins, the beagles. Love the concept and the pet insurance plans but can't deal with the vet turnover and the lack of listening skills most of the vets show. Always have to wait 45 minutes or longer to pick up a perscription or your pet after treatment.
