Ark Animal Hospital

This is the vet I went to from when I was a mere pup, to when I was old and sick, and eventually died of kidney disease. The people here are so kind and so loving. You can tell they're really "dog people." When mom took LuckyJo there last December to have her put down, after everything imaginable could be done to try to bring her back to health, everybody in the room was crying, including the vet tech, Jody. (She has Basset Hounds!) Anyway, if you want a caring doc who knows his stuff (he's been in business over 30 years), take your pets to Ark Animal Hospital, 989-879-2223. (Can you tell mom calls there a lot?) Dr.Koelsch sold his practice recently, and mom hasn't been very impressed with the new owners at all. Although ARK used to be a wonderful vet practice, she no longer recommends it, now that it's been purchased by someone else. (2-9-09)
