LOVE IT !!!!I LOVE going here. I have only been twice, and I'm about to go again, but I already know I love it. Big and little dogs are allowed together, but there is also an area for small dogs only. I prefer to stay dry, so I don't have to use these, but they have baths indoor (pay), and baths outdoor (free as long as your already in the park) for when your dogs gets dirty when swimming, and water bowls throughout the areas. There are four different areas all separately fenced (I only use three, as I never go into the shy/timid/small dog area), two very big all grass areas, and an area that has a beach with a swimming area and has a wooded area in the back which is my favorite. I love running in and out of the trees. I usually try to play with the smaller dogs, but I am to big and play to rough for them, but here there is so much that I have to smell and run through that I don't even pay attention. I would DEFFINATLY recommend trying it out. We don't live very close, so we don't have a membership and only go on Sundays. If you don't have a membership, you can go on Sundays for $8 a dog (although the first time you go you will have to bring vet records and $18 ($10 for registration and $8 for one dog (I belive it's $2.50 for each additional dog). You can see the list of vet stuff you should bring and some other requirements at their site ShaggyPines.com) Don't let the fact that you have to pay stop you, your dog(s) will LOVE it there : ) |
