“2.7 acre off-leash, fenced-in dog park with separate area for small dogs. Open daily from 7am to dusk. Use of the park is not restricted to Howard County residents. All users must have either a daily permit ($5, available on site) or an annual permit ($40, available by application). All dogs must have proof of rabies vaccine and licensure in the county of residence.”
Could be much better.
Good size dog park, but closes if it's close to raining, so you gotta call to make sure they are open. Plus, this is one you gotta pay for ($40 a year) and in the Winter it is much muddier than other dog parks. They have 3 all right next to each other, but I've never seen them all open.
This is a fun dog park with great doggies to play with. My people says you have to bring exact change for the daily permit fee - and they do check to make sure everyone has a permit. Your daily fee can be applied to an annual pass though, should you decide you want to come back. Bring your own bowl for water. Water is provided during the summer months, but it's easiest just to bring your own water too (especially in the big dog area, which is across the street from the water).
