“Druid Hill Park is a 742 acre park in northwest Baltimore, MD. It surrounds the Druid Hill Lake reservoir, and contains the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, as well as the Baltimore Conservatory. The park offers walking and biking trails, a frisbee golf course, a swimming pool and seven tennis courts, in addition to playgrounds, "workout hotspots" with free weights and rowing machines, and basketball courts. Last, but not least, the park is huge, offering plenty of free space (particularly off-path) for you and your canine friend to run!”
Are dogs allowed?I'm so confused... are dogs allowed or not? Someone yelled at me today when I was jogging with my dog on the path... he said that we can get fined, and then I did notice there was a sign saying dog's aren't allowed within 50 feet of the reservoir? Does anyone know what that means? |
Not officially a dog park, but a great spot nonetheless!Fish & I LOVE going to Druid Hill Park; we especially like the walking/biking trails behind the frisbee golf course. Plenty of room to run, but be careful of speedy bikers! |
