“We began in 1998 with an interest in caring for city feral cats. We trapped and spayed or neutered the cats, then placed them in their original neighborhoods if these places were safe and neighbors welcomed the cats. In some instances, it was necessary to relocate the cats, placing them on farms or other rural locations where people could look after the care and feeding of the felines. This then led to caring for kittens born on the streets. We placed them in foster fomes, and when the kittens were old enough, had them spayed or neutered, vaccinated and placed in permanent homes. Along the way, we found ourselves on call for almost any cat situation that came about. We located veterinarians who were sympathetic to the needs of rescue groups; and with the help of the vets, we continued our mission to end the suffering of cats and other animals who came under our care. In 2003, we became incorporated as a non-profit organization, and continue to help homeless, sick, and injured cats anywhere we find them. ”
