Vegas getting adoptedMy best buddy, Vegas, got adopted from the HSI! We were looking for a puppy and we found her there. That is the best shelter ever! It is organized and clean! Yay for HSI! Also, I have heard comments from Vegas, "They treated me as if i was a princess. They were caring and nice and oh so loving! They took care of us as if we were their's!!" Also, my owner has been there many times and says they take good care of the grass, has a play place, and everything. She said all strays diserve to go there to be loved. My dad said it wasn't stinky, (Unlike the one I was adopted from). The people were kind. My sis, Vegas also said it was like a castle! They also have special events and everything! My AngelsThe IHS rescued me after my last owners abandoned me on the side of the road. I am NOT an outdoor dog--being abandoned was the most traumatic experience of my life, but the IHS was there for me. They took me in and fed me and gave me a safe, cool, clean place to stay while I waited for my Forever Family to come find me. When my Mommy and Daddy came in, they got to take me out to a little fenced in area to play with me, so they could see just how loving and fun I am. Then they let Mommy and Daddy take me home! Soon after that, Mommy and Daddy brought me back once a week for obedience school, and I learned manners and now am quite the gentleman, which makes my parents and me very happy. posted: December 20th, 2008 |
