“This off-leash dog park is fully fenced and has some very basic agility equipment. Bags are also provided.”
Dog ParkSInce this was our first ever trip to a dog park we have nothing to compare it to but, we all had a blast!! There's no fee to get in, the entire area is fenced in and there are doggie waste bags available. There are picninc tables to sit on and quite a few toys laying around for the dogs. I was surprised at how clean it was. The people were all very friendly as were the pups. We got a dire warning as we were going into the park to "Watch out for big dogs" but we didnt have one problem. I had the 3 smallest dogs there and had no problems whatsoever!! Highly Recommend!! Onyl wish there was something this nice closer to home! |
Nice local parkThis park is pretty small, and the agility equipment is in poor shape, but it's free and a nice place for the dogs to run. Xena has made lots of friends as there are quite a few "regulars" that come to the park. No permit is required, unlike most of the other parks in the area. There is no water fountain, but there is a water bowl and most park-goers bring water to fill it. There is also a water spout on the side of the cabin next door. There is also a short walking trail behind the park. Leashes are required for the trail. The park is open from dawn until dusk, but there is night lighting and people tend to stay until 9pm or later in the summers. posted: February 28th, 2007 |
