Groomers & Spas
Never againI almost never write 'poor' reviews on places, but my dogs are too important not to. We'd always been *THRILLED* with Tail Waggers... you couldn't say the word "bath" at our house without our poodle/schnauzer running to the door. She loved going there. -- We pulled into the parking lot one day and she started to get anxious. We walked inside and she literally clung to me. They had changed groomers and the new one was *NOT* anything like the previous groomer. In fact, my dog had to be pryed from my shoulder (she'd actually dug her nails into me!). When I went to pick her up she was still a nervous wreck. They'd had to re-wash her (and the groomer was quite cranky about this to me) because she'd urinated in her crate (something she'd *never* done before - or since - when at a groomer's!) and she was literally shaking and pulling me to the door. We haven't been back since. We have found a wonderful groomer and, though its a drive, it more than makes up for it in the *excellent* personalized service and atmosphere. I am welcome to stay and watch their grooming if that makes me or them more comfortable and I'm *always* asked each and every time we go how we're doing and if there's anything my groomer should know that's going on that day, etc. I'd rather pay the gas and take the time and know that my dogs are well cared for and getting lots of love and attention while I'm not there with them. |
Tail WaggersI just love going to Tail Waggers. My mom takes me there to get groomed and I must say they take good care of me and are very gentle. When her and dad go away sometimess they take me there so I can play and bark with all the other dogs. I much rather go to Tail Waggers then stay home with my sister. I don't have nearly as much fun when she comes over to babysit me. Woof Woof for Tail Waggers, Smokey Joe |
Great daycare, boarding, and groomingBonnie spends most of her time at Tailwaggers during the work week. She goes to daycare and loves it! They love her and treat her like she were their own. When I pick her up, I hear stories about her day and if her nails are getting long, they let me know and take care of it the next day at daycare. Bonnie hates water, yet they are able to bathe her without problems and make the experience less miserable for her. |
