Veterinarians & Specialists
i took my kitty there when he started limping for no apparent reason a few days after i found him. he had an infected wound, and they gave me antibiotics. the medicine worked, but a few days later he developed ringworm on his nose. i took him back to the vet for that, and they confessed that he probably got it there. they gave me a combination antifungal/ antibiotic topical cream. it didnt work, so i went back and they gave me another combination cream, but this one made his skin come off. i did some research and found out that combination drugs DO NOT work for ringworm, in fact they make it worse! finally i used an over-the-counter athelete's foot cream, and it cleared up quickly. but that's vet 101, and thanks to them, i spent a lot of money i didnt have to, and my poor cat had to suffer through a long and uncomfortable treatment. |
