wooded area, large park, nature at it's best off the metro

If you are in the city and you want to take your dog for a wonderful nature walk or run this is the place to go. Located a short walk from the metro along the wooded trails you will be able to see whitetail deer, raccoons and foxes. The park is safe but with any remote area especially in the city women shouldn't go alone, you can never be too safe. The city park run by the National Park Service. Dogs on leash are allowed in the park. There is a paved trail and lots of picnic areas, trails and activities. The park extends from near downtown Washington to Maryland. Breath the fresh air and go for a walk with your best friend
