“Veterinarian care and 24 hour emergency vet services-- they never close. ”
A bunch of vulturesIn spite of them having a state of the art facility, I wouldn't take my worst enemy to them. Every businessman must make a profit or he doesn't stay in business. This place makes a killing. They care more about the dollar than the animal. If an emergency hospital is the only choice, I will drive clear across town to VRCC. 2 out of 2 pets found this review helpful |
It is all about the money...They do have the biggest and the best equipment around and they are open 24/7 for emergencies, but when it comes down to it, they are only interested in money. I took my cat in there for an emergency, they diagnosed him with kidney failure and wanted 3 thousand dollars up front to help him. When I told them i did not have this kind of money the only other option was to put him to sleep. On top of that, after they put my cat to sleep.. they tried pushing me out the back door because i was crying. They didn't want their other patients to see me crying. They were sic. I would not return there no matter what. They used to be on tv all the time, an emergency vet tv show.. i truly thought they would be good and perhaps they might of been if i would of had a lot of money. posted: March 3rd, 20071 pet found this review helpful |
The BestThe veterinarians and staff at Alameda East are simply the very best at what they do. They have the most up to date technology and equipment available. If you have an emergency, whether it's minor or something big, they are there 24/7 for you. My humans often call to ask questions when Quinn and I have little (or big) health issues. When I got a big puncture wound on my side a couple years ago, the emergency department took FANTASTIC care of me. I highly recommend Alameda East. |
