“Walks 'N' Wags Pet First Aid offers a recognized National Pet First Aid Certificate course for dog and cat professionals and pet owners. Originally, Walks ‘N’ Wags roots began in 2000 when Lisa Wagner opened a Dog walking and Cat sitting service in Vancouver, BC. As time passed, we got to know the dogs and cats we cared for well, and we developed an interest in their behavioral and medical needs. We expanded our services to include Dog Training and eventually instruction of Oakland Educational Services Ltd. (OESL) Pet First Aid Courses in several Metro Vancouver locations. In 2007, we took over the administration of the OESL’s National program. We have consequently carefully spent time reviewing and updating the program in conjunction with Veterinarians and Instructors in several provinces. We have also added beautiful custom illustrations to the manual to enhance student’s comprehension of the skills. Instructors now offer our reputable Pet First Aid Certificate program across Canada, parts of the U.S.A., and our comprehensive Distance Learning program is available worldwide.”
