“This is a mainstay of Santa Cruz. It's right off the freeway going into town on the way to the boardwalk on your left. It's been voted best ice cream many times over. A few years ago after a great day at the beach with the pup, I went in for some ice cream and thought I'd sneak Haighti in with me only to hear from the smily guy behind the counter "please, bring your dog in, she's welcome"!! Music to our ears!! I figured I'd buy Haighti a scoop of Vanilla (her fav) and then this happy guys says "by the way, we give out puppy scoops". Am I hearing this right?? A place that serves food allowing dogs inside AND giving them scoops of ice cream to boot? Doggie heaven was found.VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: Please keep this good thing going and make sure you buy yourself some ice cream before you ask for a free doggie scoop. I know this is common sense but I was in there once when someone came in with two little dogs ,asked for two dog scoops and then left without a purchase. As for human choices for ice cream you won't be stumped the flavors here are to die for and made the old fashioned way. For your pup they give them vanilla bean. Yum! ”

Doggy ScoopsMy mom wrote the listing so not much more to say. Just a great place to go after a day at the beach with your human. Get some great ice cream, get a dixie cup of water and hang with all the other cool folks adult and kids. |
