“These folks are really great with special needs kitties. I hope you never need them, but if you do they are kind, smart, great diagnosticians and they even have acupuncture there for preventive and also for pain/end stage management/quality of life.”
I was referred to see Dr. Vitale for my allergies. He was great with me and explains everything very well to my human. He also talks to my human on the phone a lot to check in on my progress. I would definitely recommend Dr. Vitale and SFVS! |
AllergiesI am a bit of a special needs pup as I have all kinds of allergies. My mom did not like that my last vet wanted to just keep me on special food and steriods to control my allergies. My mom told me that the steriods could damage my liver and kidneys over time and I could end up very sick later on. She took me to see Dr. Fong who specializes in alternative medicine. I now get acupuncture (which I don't like so much, especially near my rear end) but I am off my medication and my mom and dad cook my food now, no more kibble. My pink itchy skin is clearing up and I'm now a lean mean frisbee chasing machine on my new diet. (My mom's kind of fanatical about keeping my weight down) |
Ella WoodsI really had a hard time going to see doctors, but as soon as I saw that I was getting acupuncture with Ella, I calmed right down. Settled into my favorite spot by the window and I waited for Ella to take care of me. When I would get home I would sleep so soundly and calmly and my health really did improve with her help and herbs. I had been seen by all these doctors and none of them in the eight months of seeing me figured out that I had girardia. Can you imagine how uncomfortable I was! Jeez. Anyway, she have me this tuff called smart balance and a couple of herb combos that helped me get my gut back in shape in about 3 weeks. Oh, I felt so much better. |
