“Named after noted local horticulturalist and "Mother of Balboa Park" Kate Sessions, this Pacific Beach park boasts some of the most stunning views of the city. The 79-acre park is perched atop Lamont Street at Soledad Road on the border between Pacific Beach and La Jolla. An expanse of lawn provides a great place to relax, fly kites, have a romantic picnic or get grass-stained with the kiddies. Facilities include restrooms, barbecue pits, picnic tables, water fountains, a swing set and two play structures for kids (one designed for toddlers, the other for school-aged tots).”
leash free???This beautiful park has plenty of lawn area for humans and dogs to enjoy themselves - and beautiful views of San Diego's beaches. Its a little small if your dog likes "walking" and most of the dogs are off leash, even though it is NOT a leash free park. |
