“Serving San Diego County since 1880, the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA provides vital services to animals and people alike through sheltering and adopting animals, providing positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable animals and for owned animals through public training classes, investigating animal cruelty and neglect, providing adult and youth education programs, sharing animals through pet-assisted therapy and rescuing animals in emergency situations. A private nonprofit organization that receives no public or government funding, the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is supported solely by contributions, grants, bequests, investments, and some fees for service. As the oldest animal welfare organizations in San Diego, the San Diego Humane Society and SPCA is more than just an animal shelter. The Humane Society offers San Diegans a wide breadth of programs and services that promote the human-animal bond. ”
They RAWK!San Diego Humane Society does so much for so many! |
reviewThis is where mom got Leo, he was a gigantic cat. He has gone to Rainbow bridge, they took care of his remains for a reasonable price. Noxie, my sister also went there for her crematon. The setting is beautiful but all animals in these conditions are not very happy and they so hope to be adopted. Please adopt an abandoned animal. They all need love and a forever home. We have had cats and dogs from several ASPCA's, they are our 1st choice. posted: September 16th, 2008 |
Sounds like a pawsome animal shelter |
