I am a true believer

I never thought in a million years that owning a puppy was as difficult and so time consuming. i knew it would be hard dont get me wrong but I guess I figured that people do it all the time so it was no biggie. when we first got Bolo my Amercian Bulldog I expected this cute sweet cuddly puppy that would get along great with the kids and trainig would come around the age of 6 months. Boy was I wrong Bolo had no sense of impulse control and obviously was never told no. Coming from a litter of 12 I expected some food aggresion and what not but not an all around hooligan like he was. I called Jani when I was going on a camping trip[ and could not take him along due to his age and not having all complete vaccinations. I told her everthing i also told her we were using the "alpha roll" technique and if it got out of hand to call me. She is a positive reinforcement trainer so that was just not her style. When I got back it seemed my dog was transformed and wouldnt even exit a door without the release command "ok". he was so much more gentle and calm i couldnt believe it. I owe Jani so much. I have been working on my own energy as well and things are just falling into place. It's so great to have peace and calm in the home now. Thanks you so much Jani
