“Pulgas Ridge Open Space Preserve is located in the hills above the towns of San Carlos and Redwood City. Miles of trails over 366 acres allow for hiking and on-leash dog walking. There is also an off-leash area where dogs can run free. From Highway 280, exit Edgewood Road. Travel 0.75 miles northeast on Edgewood Road toward Redwood City. Turn left (north) on Crestview Drive, then immediately turn left on Edmonds Road. Follow Edmonds Road to the preserve entrance on the right (near the chain link fence).”

Love Hiking? This is a Great Spot!

If you like to hike, this park has nice trails and long ones too.. the biggest perk is the space in the middle of the preserve where you can let your dog off leash to run around and sniff bushes to his hearts content. Just remember to bring some water for your pooch, it can get hot on a sunny day!
