Veterinarians & Specialists
They've gone WAY downhill.I used to love Adobe, especially that they are open 24/7 and allow you to escort your pet through various procedures including x-ray, ultrasound, etc. They have some 19 or 20 vets on staff and you'd think with so many vets, you'd be able to get a quick appointment and a competent diagnosis. Lately, we've not been able to get either. In fact, we've had so many grossly incorrect diagnoses from various vets at Adobe over the past year or so that we have finally said, "enough!" and are now looking for another vet. Adobe is a BIG disappointment on so many levels. Even trying to get copies of your own pet's blood work faxed to you takes a monumental effort -- numerous phone calls, putting up with rude phone operators, etc. We used to be able to get a same- or next-day appointment with no problems - NOW, it takes a week or more to get an appointment - ridiculous. Their prices have also increased exponentially over the past three years we've been going there, while their quality of care, medical accuracy and customer service has plummeted into the gutter. 1 pet found this review helpful |
5 Paws Up To Dr. Roos!We foster dogs for our local shelter. Recently we received a dog with a broken elbow and the shelter was going to amputate the leg. Dr. Roos took one look at the x rays and said "I can fix this." He operated on Bailey the next day at a very reduced rate. Bailey thanks you Dr. Roos! |
Thank dog for Dr. Boltz! When I broke my humerus, Dr. Boltz was the only vet we could find who treated my case like an emergency! I needed surgery to put plates in, but the vet in Rohnert Park wanted me to wait another TWO DAYS! We called the Adobe Animal Hospital around 6pm on a Sunday night, and Dr. Boltz agreed over the phone to take me as a patient. We had already driven 4 hours, and Los Altos would be another 1.5 hours more. We got to Adobe at 10 on Monday, and I was in surgery with Dr. Boltz by 12:30pm! She was great with my mommy and made sure mom understood what type of surgery I would be having, what the back-up plan would be, and what to expect during my recovery. Dr. Boltz called mommy as soon as I was coming out of surgery to let her know that I was OK. I was able to go home the next day with a detailed list of instructions and all my records. Dr. Roos called mommy 3 days after the surgery just to check on me. |
