“ We are a group of volunteers in southern California, primarily in Los Angeles and Orange counties dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned animals. We care for strays, unwanted animals, victims of abuse, and have received many from animal shelters across California. At the present time we do not have a facility of our own, so we rely solely on the good will of foster families who care for them until they can be placed in permanent homes. We work closely with animal care shelters, other rescue groups, and we encourage you to visit our “Links” page where you can visit their web sites. We are always in need of volunteers to assist in showing the animals on weekends and especially to foster pets until they are adopted. We are a registered California non-profit charitable public benefit corporation. Our founders started many years ago as volunteers with various non-profit organizations across the United States and have made pet rescue a major part of their lives. Most of us have our own families of dogs, cats, and other pets who also were once rescues. In the meantime more people had shown an interest in starting a new all-volunteer pet rescue group and that is how we got started. Everyone does what they can to make this effort a success and we’re really having fun doing it! Should you be interested in helping in any way, please visit our “Volunteer” page and fill out an application, just send an e-mail, or call us at: 949-831-4988 We’d love to have you! ”

They Help Save Pups Lives!

Nikki and Parker's mom found out about me on Dogster. She heard that my time was up, so she contacted Critters in Need Pet Rescue, and they agreed to take me. Since they need help in showing me at the Huntington Beach PetSmart on Saturdays, she promised she'd help out. They're also helping Milo find a home, plus they found a home for Parker's original sis, Red.
