nice beach :)good sized beach...we went on a Saturday, and there were A LOT of dogs (more or less 30). This is the only dog beach we know of where you pay for curbside parking ($2/hr). |
Del Mar Dog BeachI love this beach, I have met so many nice pups there. On the weekends it gets pretty crowded and none of us like the summer when we aren't allowed.. If you ever visit San Diego, stop by and visit, you will love it just as much as I do.. |
Beautiful Beach for Dogs and Dog LoversDel Mar Dog Beach is open from mid-September through mid-June. It is off-limits for three months during the summer. It's a wonderful, expansive stretch of beach, nestled against rugged cliffs. It's best to go at low-tide, which allows for a wider stretch of beach to run and play on. Lots of rock pools filled with crabs and crawly critters. Great place. |
