It's better than nothingThe north side borders the Burlingame Wastewater Treatment Plant, and if the wind is blowing from the wrong direction, as it often is, well, the smell can be unpleasant for the humans! For the most part, it's just one big, fenced-in area with a dirt & rock surface, but there are a few areas with some pretty rough grass, and bushes. The nicest thing about it is that the main section is pretty long, for those dogs that like running in straight lines. There is a small-dog section that was added on a year or two ago, but if you've got small dogs that shouldn't play in the big dog section, then you should take them to one of the other dog parks in the area. The layout is such that owners of dogs playing in the main section do not always have a view of their dogs. Due to the couple of nicer dogs parks several miles to the South, the Burlingame Dog Park usually isn't crowded. posted: August 7th, 2007 |
