“The Best Doggy Daycare & Boarding Facility in the Burbank Area!! ”
Bow Wow's Overrated.Bow Wow Bungalow has a great area for the dogs...and that's about it. Staff is cold and impersonal. Since I've been going there, price has gone from $55 a day, to $60 a day, to $65 a day...over about 18 months. They're nickel-and-dime specialists. I walked out of there over Thanksgiving with a $10 "holiday fee" added to a $5 "Thanksgiving fee". When I mentioned it sounds like a double charge, I was told -- coldly -- to read it in the agreement. Today I was just charged $5 for a "card declined" fee...and as she's explaining it to me, she says something along the lines of, "it happens. People go out of town, and the bank sees charges wherever you went, and they see us charging your card in Burbank, and it declines." Which was my case. When I told her that, and asked the fee be waived, it didn't matter. "You're free to take your dog elsewhere," was her follow up. When I asked the owner about this outside the kennel, she said it was "what the bank charges us." Funny...I've had merchant accounts for almost a decade, and that's never the case with my businesses. Not one time. |
Great placeSasha goes here at least once a week and gets boarded here. Love that it is mostly outside with lots of toys, tunnels, and water to play ! |
Pawsome place for everything.Has upper end quality dog foods, accessories and board and care. Owner Marcie Campbell is very knowledgable and caring. Staff is incredibly friendly and are experienced in every aspect of dog information and care. Although I own a service dog and she travels everywhere with me, IF there was ever a need to board Pita somewhere, THIS would be the ONLY place in Southern California that I would consider. Very impressed with the premises and staff. |
