I wish I lived closer to this shelter!

What a great place! My mom lived in Berkeley, CA for awhile and has nothing but great things to say about BEBHS! Nice people, clean facility, great training program, the list goes on and on!!

Small Dog Play Group

We love the small dog play group. A chance for safe socialization and lots of room for zoomies and other play. Available on a drop in basis. Check out their web site for dates and more details http://www.berkeleyhumane.org/Training/Training_Classes.htm#SmallPlay The staff and volunteers are super friendly and helpful.

The best shelter in the Bay Area!

Kind, caring staff; great volunteers; wonderful vet staff; I spent some time here before my mom adopted me and I'll have to say the care was really the BEST! Be sure to come in and meet all the wonderful cats and dogs - they are just waiting to go home.
