“Here is a charming little restaurant on Balboa Island where the local dogs love to come to eat with their people! You will find lots of friendly dogs out on the patio (not allowed indoors) under the giant Ficus trees people watching those who come off the Balboa Island Ferry since the restaurant is at the end of the street by the dock. The servers are friendly and offer water, if doggies want it, but there isn't a dog menu. Space heaters are available if you get cold. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served seven days a week. Parking is on the streets of Balboa Island...although there is a very small (2-car) parking lot adjacent to the restaurant.”
Restaurant: Park Avenue CafeI love going to the beach and the Park Avenue Cafe is loads of fun cuz I can people watch! Mama & daddy relax and have a glass of vino with their dinner while I watch the people come off the ferry on Balboa Island. I have a few 'regular' doggy friends I like to visit with like Puppy. There's this one CAT who comes around... Ahhh...love the beach life! posted: February 23rd, 20071 pet found this review helpful |
