Forget Driving Miss Daisy, Watch This Terrier Named Daisy Take the Wheel!

The terrier takes her little human for a drive, steering the boy's fancy toy car while he sits back and enjoys the ride.

Here at Dogster, we regularly praise pups as the best of companions for kids. A little terrier named Daisy has set a new bar for dogs everywhere by also taking on the role of chauffeur.

Proud mom Jessica Wolf shared this video of Daisy driving her 14-month-old son, Oliver, around in his fancy toy car. Give it a watch to absolutely make your day.

We especially love the sweet pats Oliver gives Daisy as she steers them clear of garage doors and the other family dog, Donald — with help from mom, who’s corrects their course with the remote control when necessary.

“He got this car for his birthday, and he LOVES to ride in it,” Jessica told Dogster. “But [he] always wants the dogs to ride in it with him. So once we started letting him drive them around, Daisy started to place her paws on the wheel and would start turning the wheel (I can control the wheel from the remote, but the person in the car can do it as well). So it has become a common thing that goes on. Oliver drives the dogs, and then Daisy takes a turn.”

Since Jessica posted the video last week, it’s gone viral, amassing more than 200,000 views on YouTube and nearly 500,000 on Facebook. Good Morning America and The Today Show have also played the video.

“I just happened to grab my phone and film it, because it was cracking me up how they were hanging together, and decided to post it,” Jessica said. “I had no idea it would get this much hype!”

Let’s hope that hype turns into more “Driving Mr. Oliver” videos soon!
