I am not a gerbil!

I love to shred napkins up, I'm not sure why I do it. And I know I'm not supposed to shred them but I always forget that it's bad. Wait a minute... I always watch daddy and mommy just crumble them up, dirty them up, and throw them away. Hypocrites. I don't see them yelling at themselves or at each other. So when daddy and mommy were away I took (only a couple) napkins and made myself a little nest in the family room.

Uh oh, then in comes daddy and he sees the mess. He gets on the floor and starts grumbling as he's picking up the shredded napkins. All of my hard work! Then he says, "What are you, a giant gerbil?" I get really sad and my ears begin to droop. That's my way of saying sorry. Daddy is always forgiving, he then gives me lots of hugs and kisses. He doesn't stay mad at me for long, how can he since I'm so darn cute?

Ok dad, call me a giant gerbil. But be glad I'm not a giant beaver or else I'd be heading straight for your Alvarez classical guitar. :)
