You are closely held in our thoughts and pawyerings.
Many big hugs.
Good to know that Willie has beautiful wings with which to fly and be free, amongst his bridge pals, and he can watch over his earth pals, too.

And if I go, while you are still here...
Know that I still live on,
Vibrating to a different measure,
Behind a thin veil that you cannot see through.
You will not see me, so you must have faith.
I will wait there for the time when we can soar together again, both aware of each other.
Until then, live your life to the fullest.
And when you need me, just whisper my name in your heart,
...I will be there.

Willie, I wrap you in my arms & keep you warm, my wings wrapping around me to keep us both warm! Welcome to the Bridge, little sweet boy!
Joni, my heart breaks for you & yours. I lost Cheena just a few short weeks ago, & I know exactly how you are feeling. Know, please, that I'm right here with you, with an empty heart, but with a healthy memory of my baby girl when she was younger & more active. This will happen to you as time goes by!
Love to you Joni. Pmail me if you need me, ok?
Love, Debbie & Cheena

Joni our hearts weep with yours. I knew our Willie was growing frail but had no idea his journey was so soon. Our hearts our broken so we know how yours must feel. Willie was an angel before he ever got his wings. He gave so much to so many what will we do without him. His love and strength kept us going in some of our darkest hours. We prayed each and every night through the stars..we can only hope he knew how much we loved him. He was one of a kind and he will remain Rios brother in heart. No other could ever take his place. We send you gentle hugs and all our love.
Willie...my brother...I love you and want you to know I hear you chanting from the heavens above and I promise to fight for you. I miss you my friend. Run free and chase all those pesky squirrels up there for me. I found your star tonight and I hope you felt our love all the way to the bridge. We love you Willie...and we will miss you furever and ever. Rio, Lexey and Pat

The Dragonfly story is very special and a comfort, as Stormy wrote.
A blue butterfly is our comforting symbol for Rocky. He always had a blue blanket around him and it became associated with him. When he passed on, the Crew sent flowers with a beautiful blue bow and a dear blue butterfly hovering above. Remember this later in the week.

Family Chain
We little knew that morning,
God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Oh, Joanie, our hearts go out to you, sweetie. Quite honestly, right at this moment, our mom is struggling for words. Willie's passing is so extremely difficult to comprehend. We share your tears and pain at this very sad time. You gave Willie as much love and as happy and wonderful a life as any fur baby could ever possibly have. Your setting him free to eternal youth and vigor is the ultimate act of unselfishness. He needed your help and you did not fail him.

Godspeed, Willie, dear furiend! Fly free and rest peacefully. You will be FOREVER loved and FOREVER remembered. We love you.

Sweet Willie,
There are no words to describe the pain of your absence. We will always remember your thoughtfulness and concern for others. You were an inspiration to all of us.
When you leave us, our hearts break and it leaves a big, empty
void that can't be replaced. We often wonder why God allows for pets to live much shorter lives than humans. The best explanation I ever heard for this is...."pets live shorter lives than humans because they already know how to unconditionally love."

Will miss you ever so much, Sweet One!

And for your Mom, Joni....
~May Willie's Peace Be Your Peace~
