I'm such a lucky pup and was rescued by mommy many years ago from a very bad "breeder" who no longer wanted me and treated me very badly. Mom managed to get this breeder stopped from ever owning dogs again and I've had a wonderful life.
I have not forgotten where I came from and try to help other pups who are lonely, hurt or sad.
Mowgli is my sponsor dog. He lives at Best Friends Animal Society in Utah. See my second picture to see Mowgli.
This is his story.
Mowgli is a feral dog. That means he never learned to bond with people as a puppy because he grew up on the streets without any human contact. This sweet but very shy sheperd/malmute/lab mix lives with his best friend, Montana, another shepherd mix. Montana loves Mowgli and she runs their home in Best Friends Dogtown.
Mowgli and Montana play together all day and when staff members are doing the daily chores of Dogtown, Mowgli likes to help by carrying the pooper-scooper around for them. He loves treats, toys and chewies and carries his own blanket out during the afternoon so he can lie in the sun.
Mowgli is now my friend too!

Mowgli is lucky to have a friend/sponsor like you! Your momma sounds like a very generous person. Keep up the good work pals!!
