The Tissue Paper Saga

Although mom wasn't happy, I had the time of my life earlier this week while she was at work. She was getting ready to wrap some Easter gifts and forgot her huge box of fluffy, colored tissue paper and left it out on the rug on the cellar floor.

Well, trying to be my efficient, helpful little self, I decided I would reduce those huge large sheets into little bite size pieces and deposit them in places I thought it would be much easier for her to use when ready. It took me several hours of very hard work but I was finally able to get every single sheet and color down to the size of a dime. The cellar looked so much better at this drab time of year. There were yellows, reds, blues, greens, pinks, etc. I made sure there wasn't one little space without those pretty and bright "snowflakes". I even carried some upstairs to the kitchen, livingroom and dining room and another lovely selection to "our" bedroom. I was so proud of myself but was simply exausted from the work and then took a very small nap inside the tissue box and that's where mom found me on her return home.

I'm not sure she appreciated my efforts and it took her a loooonnnnggg time to capture all of my treasures and hide them away (I did see a box going to the dumpster but that couldn't have been my artwork, could it???)

A dog's work just never seems to be done and I can hardly wait for my next adventure.
