Arrival Story: We wanted another dog and found an add in the local pet store for puppies. We called, and found out that they still had several so we went to see them. Mya was the only girl in her litter. We took her home, and now have a wonderful dog! She acts psycho, but we figure that's because she was born on April Fool's Day!
Forums Motto:
My obedience classes just ended! I was in the level 2 of obedience and we did some off-leash work and work with distractions. In a couple weeks I'm going to go back for my CGC and TDI testing! The trainer said he thinks I can pass with flying colors in the CGC and do very well in the TDI! I'm also ready for the Advanced training with mostly off-leash work and advanced commands. Mommy is VERY excited!
Earlier when Mom was walking me I saw 3 small fuzzy gray and white things in MY dog kennel!!! I stared at them and they made strange squeaky noises! Mom said that they are the new foster kittens and they were dumped at need a new home, but I'm not so sure. All the cats that have been there before and that I've met have been bigger! These are like little mice! But if Mom says so, it must be. Maybe later I can sneak outside and check on them to make sure that they don't morph into aliens when Mom leaves!
I'm learning a new trick! It's called, "hopup!" Mom gets down on her hands and knees and when she says, "hopup!!!" I run and jump up onto her back! I'm still working on making it up every time since sometimes I want to try and get the treat without jumping ALL the way up so I only put on my front paws. But then Mom taps my back feet until I move them all the way onto her back. It is cool and Mom gets really happy when I do it, so it must be something good!
