Yup. That's my birthday story...
Mom was talking about my birthday waty before the calendar hit September. She has been reminding daddy, non-fur brother and Milo about it. I know I'm mommy's precious girl and I thought she must be planning something special for me!
So, mom woke up early, 4am, on that day, but she was focusing on her laptop to prepare her work. She had to leave home by 7am, as she had a early moring meeting at 8am. So mom as dad to feed us breakfast. Guess what? Daddy was so sleepy and did not hear what mommy said... So he left for work later without feeding us!
What can be worse than suffering no breakfast in the morning? Well, I thought mom has planned something in the evening, but nope! Mom and dad came home, eat their dinner. During the dinner I was crying to mom... So mom was asking daddy, "what's going on with Maru? She can't be hungry, riight? she usually does not want her diiner so early." That's right, I would not eat anything if mom feeds me before 8pm. I like late dinner fpor some reason. But not today! I had no breakfast! Finally, mom realized that and scream at daddy "Hey, they need to eat! How could you forget about it!". Well, we got fed. But I was not too happy.. As there was no sign of birthday celebration! I started to whine and refused to move aay from the dining table.
At 9pm, mom log on to her e-mail and realized that many pals have sent me gifts, but nothing for Milo... that's a bit strange! So she read the mail and realized that it's my birthday! SHe almost want to shoot herself! So Momm gather daddy and non-fiur brother, they sang me "happy birthday song, and kissed me. Mommy said to me "Oh, Maru I'm so~so sorry that I forgot that today is the big day! Please forgive me. I'll make it up to you next week!"
Well, I really understand this, as mom has been feeling quite sad sonce end of August... Her grandma, out great grandma, had just passed away at age 92 and her funeral service was the day before my birthday...
I would like to thank all my pals who send me gifts and mails on my birthday. You pups really make me feel special.

Well, It has been a month since I last licked mommy physically... She and our non-fur brother went visit grandma since Mother's Day. We were left home alone with daddy for three weeks. We can only lick mommy and the little non-fur brother when we (I mean Daddy) Skype her. Daddy wen join mommy in early June, so we had to go stay with our trainer, Jack.
It is always fun to stay with Jack. Jack's family love us! Jack took care of me ever since I was three months old! We had a great time playing with Jack's family and dogs. Of course, I'm not super happy when Milo played with Jack's dogs... Milo is supposed to be mine!
Last night, our pawrents and non-fur brother finally came back! They can't wait to see us, so they came pick us up right after they left the luggage in the living room! We were so happy to see them!
Now, we are home resting... Will bark again soon.

As Milo celebrates his success in weight losing, I have gained weight!
Yup, the Milo boy just shaked his weight off to me! Now, I'm 13 pounds... Mommy was screaming! "Maru, do you know a mini is NOT supposed to weigh more than 10 pounds?" "How do you manage to gain so much weight?" Yup, I was 10 pounds just three months ago, and now I'm 13 pounds. For a small girl like me, 3 pounds is a lot!
But, I really eat very minimum amount! I hate my special food (which is suppose to be good for my skin allergy), so I hardly finish my food. So, me and mommy just can't understand the reason why I gain so much weight?
The dogtor told mommy that as I was on allergy medicine, it is likely that I'll gain weight (really?).
Well, guess I just have to exercise a bit more...
