Likes: Pepper likes most when the attention and petting is all directed her way. She sleeps at your feet and bounces at your heels. She grins at you everytime you look at her.
Pet-Peeves: Not being allowed outside when any other dog or human is out there.
Favorite Toy: Anything to get anyones attention to play with her.
Favorite Food: I like those chicken strip things, those Greenie things, those nibbles that fall on the floor. I'm not sure I really turn down food.
Favorite Walk: Favorite? I just like to be in the front and going.
Best Tricks: I can dance, dance, dance and spin, spin, spin.
Arrival Story: My new forever mom rescued me. I was an owner surrender. They were adopting a special needs child. Sadly they made the hard decision to let me go. I lived in my new foster home only 3 weeks and made really good pals with my friend Cutter.
Bio: Mr. Cutter and I took a long drive from northern Idaho to Seattle. That was a long drive. When we got to our new forever mom's house we sniffed around in the front yard. When we went out back our new mom brought her dogs Misty and Scooter out to meet us. After a little sniffing and running we went into our new home. You should see all the toys, this is going to be fun.
Security: I will follow you around the house or yard. I think of myself as a personal security detail. You never know when you might need me to sniff a stick or my nose stone or bark at something you can't hear.
A Good Story: PAPILLON In the shimmering, misty morning light, From nowhere you dart into my sight. Bubbly, bounding, bouncy flight-- With shining wings and colors bright. Now I know just what I'll do. I'll set a special trap for you. I'll tempt you with a honey jar-- You'll never ever see the bar. And I'll keep you for my very own, pretty, pristine Papillon. Man's best friend in miniature, You are a lovely one for sure. With flying ears and dancing feet, Tiny body with face petite. So I know just what I'll do. I'll set a special trap for you. I'll tempt you with a doggie bone, Build a little house for you alone, And keep you for my very own, loving, prancing, Papillon.
Today's paw walk forecast calls for temperatures finally below freezing for the day. Up here on the hill we'll see if it freezes overnight. Mom actually hopes so. It's dark when she goes to work and dark when leaves work this time of the year so it's been since Sunday for dog poop patrol. If it has to be cold for this long - easier to pick up frozen than soggy from the rain. BOL.
Hope all you other pups are staying warm, I know the cold snap we've lived in is still making it across to the east. Stay safe and snuggle into the covers.
Today's paw walk forecast was just damp paws this morning. Tonight it is below freezing, which can't be good for Scooter's shnoz and it being all stuffed up with gross boy boggers and stuff. Good thing he is all cozy and tucked into bed (Mom says she might just sleep on the couch BOL).
Pups it is going to be slick on the deck, frosty grass and some slick ice in the dark roads for the next week or two.
Stay safe, stay warm, keep healthy (POtP ScooterPie), and look out for others this December.
Also, nose under covers tonight, we are already below freezing! Us Seattle pups do weird things like laundry at 2 am, dishes at 4 am, shower at 6 am. Well not us pups, but Mom - she thinks it keeps the pipes "moving along - no freezing here" attitude.
Today's paw walk forecast is cold again for the rest of the week. Cold rain will stop by at the most inconvenient times. Snow up on the mountains, but not on the foothills. Mom says she needs the temperature to average the mid to high 40's again because our heating bill is flitting money out the roof.
