Man has it been a long time since I was on here! I guess I could start with the fact that my Sabres got bounced in the first round of the playoffs by the Flyers. We had a few times to close the series out but ultimately blew them and lost the series in Game 7. All is well though because 1. In Pegula We Trust - next season will be different, 2. The Flyers just got swept by the Bruins a few nights ago, and 3. Mommy's second favorite team (and therefore mine as well) the Tampa Bay Lightning are still alive. Come On Tampa!!!!

Now onto the important stuff...like the FIRE! Last Monday morning was a typical morning. I was all curled up on the couch in big guys blankie, mommy was upstairs making breakfast for herself before school, and then all of a sudden mamie runs in the house "FIRE, we have fire in the garage". Mommy runs outside to find that we sure did have a fire, and not just smoke and hotness but actual flames in the front corner of the garage. Luckily we caught it before it was too big so mamie was able to put it out with the garden hose but boy was it a close call. It burned through some stuff from that corner (like a garbage can, some wood, etc) but for the most part the garage was unharmed...PHEW thank god that was caught quickly!

And now my intruders. Our neighbors Tiffany and Mike are on a little trip for 5 days which meant they left their 2 dogs Tyson (a boxer like my Meaty), and Ruby (a pitbull) home and left mamie in charge of taking care of them. Here lil ole me thought they'd be staying at their own home and just being let out but SURPRISE here they are, in my house for "play time". Are you kidding me?! I'm freaking 20 pounds and 6" off the ground, Ozzy wasn't enough?! They play a lot, and I try to play too but I get a little skittish, you see, they run, and they run hard and I'm afraid my lil self is going to get trampled in all the commotion. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad mamie is taking care of them but GRRR I wanna play too!

Tomorrow mommy has a BIG nursing final. Because of the fact that she had mono in the beginning of the semester she needs an 84% on this final to move on into her FINAL semester of nursing school, if she gets below an 84% she'll have to repeat this class and be a semester behind. She's been studying like a mad woman for the last week! Eat, study, work, study, sleep, study, little play-time with me, study...she really knows her stuff but her teacher's are big fans of ridiculous nonsensical questions...over half of the class is failing and needs an 80% or above on tomorrow's big final...that should say something! Anyways, keep mommy and her friends in your thoughts please, they could use all the well-wishes they can get...I have full confidence, mommy's no dummy, she can do this!

Alright well, it looks like my "play-time" is here so I'm gonna get to it while she's still got the time before she gets back to studying! Hopefully I'll be back on sooner, rather than later now that school is coming to an end for mommy!
