I so sleepy

I had a busy busy day today. It started out early with my usual rambunctious play to turn the whole house upside down, but then it became different. Mamie and mommy went shopping for stuff, something called cornstalks, and pumpkins, and gourds, and who knows what else, I'm still trying to figure out which of the new additions to the landscaping is a pumpkin, vs. a gourd, vs. a corn stalk.

At first when they started decorating I was left inside because it's chilly here in Buffalo but I quickly voiced my displeasure by standing underneath the window not only barking but howling too...I use the howl when I really want something because mommy can't resist it hehehe. She promptly came into the house, scooped me up, dressed me in my winter coat and off I went. By the time I got out there the bush had already been decorated, the lights hung, and the spiderweb stretched but boy was there a lot left for me to help with. I had to: hang popcorn statues, tie up cornstalks, run the yard after leaves, do my business, place gourds, run the yard some more, and then build the creepy guy who "flies" over our front yard, then place some tombstones. Even after all that excitement we AREN'T finished. Mommy and mamie still have to get more pumpkins, some hay bales, and some washable paint to paint hand and footprints, plus they carved some more tombstones and a cemetery sign so now tomorrow we paint them and stake them to the ground so it looks like I'm gonna be having another fun-filled day tomorrow! Mommy says we have to make the house just as cute if not cuter than usual because she's having a party here this year...I LOVE parties and even have my halloween costume already, I'm going to be a policeman, the handcuffs scare me when they bounce together so I may be a handcuff-less policeman but I'm still going to be adorable...bring on the party mom!

While I was outside mommy didn't tether me at all, and I was out there without my big brothers. See usually my tether is tied to me but not to the ground so I have free run with my brother Meatball but if I do stray they have an extra 3 feet to catch me by. Well, Meatball never lets that happen, he makes sure I am right behind him at all times or he doesn't move from his spot, so today was a new experience but I was constantly told I was being a VERY good boy...I came when I was called, never left my own yard, didn't need to me chased down and carried, and most of all reinforcements...AKA Meatball were never called in! WOO HOO GO ME, I was GOOD all by myself!

Alright well I am very tuckered out so I think it's time I go curl up for bed so I can be well rested for tomorrow!
