Well mommy figured out today that the spot on my head that she originally treated as a burn, they thought was just singed hair and focused only on my lip area must have actually been a burn. See, she noticed a circle of hair missing in one spot, and then a line, which looks like a scratch missing right behind it. The skin below is apparently pretty red and icky looking so what does mommy do?! She immediately calls the vet and explains to him what she's seeing and believe me he must not have been too alarmed because even though he does want to check it out he isn't rushing me in there, in fact, I don't go see him until Monday morning, so I say GEE mom if it was as bad as you think it is wouldn't he have either made me go in to him right away or recommended I go to the emergency vet? DUH! Well now she's decided that on top of using neosporin to help me heal my lip/nose area so my black comes back, she's going to use it on those spots on my head, and what else does she do to me?! She's cleaning it out with a bit of peroxide on a q-tip a few times a day now. It doesn't hurt, I don't wimper or flinch or anything, and she said something about not seeing any bubbles so I guess that must be a good thing, I like bubbles but mommy says these kind of bubbles would mean my head is infected so I want these bubbles to stay away from me.

Mommy locked her keys in her car today... while it was running... in her very own driveway. Seems easy enough to grab a spare key right? WRONG, mommy's spare key is with her boyfriend and where was her boyfriend at work until 9pm! Don't worry though mommy did get into her car, it took about 45 minutes but her boyfriends mommy ran to his work to grab the key and brought it here to my mommy so she could get in, and turn the car off. How'd she do it? We're not really sure but we do believe it's karma, see a friend did that just this past Wednesday so what 2 days ago now and boy oh boy was he made fun of a lot. This should teach mommy to keep her mouth closed!

Mamie and big guy are still playing away in Florida. I did hear talk of a mickey mouse collar coming home to me which is exciting! They were heading into Magic Kingdom one last time today and then tomorrow is Sea World where mamie is going to go do something called shark diving... I don't know what that is but sharks are big and mean so I don't think I want to know. Then on Sunday night THEY COME HOME!!! I hope mamie and big guy don't get too freaked out by the current state of my head and face cuz I will be better soon... mommy keeps telling me I'm still cute, and all it takes it me to get wide eyed and stick part of my tongue out and I've got mamie sunk so I bet even if she is upset she'll still find me adorable!

Alright well I'm off to play in the bathtub while mommy takes care of her pedicure and stuff, then maybe a nap for me!
