Best Game Ever!

I know I didn't come up with this idea, but I finally TOOK the idea at least, and again - wonder why I took so long to do it...
I break up a section of Holly's favorite "junk food" Puperoni (I know, I know, but it's her ONLY vice) and toss the TINY LITTLE pieces around the room. (Pieces maybe half the size of my little fingernail...) I use the messiest room in the house, usually my bedroom - heh heh, so it takes her much longer to search out the treats.

She loves this game so much that she whines when she wants to play it, and it's a different whine than when she needs to go outside. She lets me know in no uncertain terms that she's waited long enough and wants to play it NOW! I really enjoy tossing the treats in one area while she's looking in another area, but her ears are good and she usually hears where a treat lands and races over "there" to find it.

Good thing about using a strong scented dog treat and not other food like bits of hotdog, if she doesn't find it right away, it's not going to rot! However, I don't think she's missed any yet! GOOD DOG HOLLY BELLE!

Did I mention lately how much I love being a Dog Mom, and how much I love Holly Belle?

Finally Bought Holly Belle a Kong - WHY Did I Wait So Long?

Holly has LOTS of toys - she loves stuffed (able to UNSTUFF) and squeaky toys. She loves chicken covered pig ears. She loves to chew, but has never shown much interest in rubber toys. Somehow, I just never got around to buying her a Kong. Well, it's been raining like, FOREVER and she's driving me nuts, bringing me toys to throw for her to fetch in the house. Seems like 24/7. I'm tired of playing fetch... I FINALLY bought her a Kong and started stuffing treats in there. HEAVEN! She loves it and it keeps her busy for a long time. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG???????
