Quick Bio:
-dog rescue

Loves his pack "brother" Fitz. Loves any kind of toy and loves to shred paper. Loves going for a walk or a run.

Hates, hates, hates going in the car.

Favorite Toy:
Loves stuffies, he destroys them in seconds (which is why he's not allowed to have them).

Favorite Food:
Peanut Butter (dog) cookies, pigs ears, marrow bones.

Favorite Walk:
The trail system at my company's campus.

Best Tricks:
We haven't done too much trick training, but he is very eager with the "high five".

Arrival Story:
Tig is a rescue dog who I adopted from Boxer Buddies (http://www.boxerbuddies.org/). From what I understand, his former family was quite overwhelmed by his energy and exuberance, and so kept him crated most of the time. It also doesn't sound like they had much experience with dogs before Tig came into their lives. When I met Tig through BBRI, it was with concern about how he would get along with my Pugs, but from day one he and my youngest Pug, Fitz, have been complete best buds. I swear they're like brothers who were somehow separated at birth. Since then Tig has become a big and important part of my household. In the warmer months he has been my running and trail partner. I've taken him through a series of obedience school courses, finally earning his CGC certificate. Tig is a sensitive, rambunctious, hyper-alert dog who doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He just needed someone to give him a chance and just love him.
