On the way to New Mexico this time we went through Salton Sea and just as we came to Yuma a small Chihuahua ran in front of daddys new truck across a busy street. Daddy stepped on the break hard so as not to hit the dog. The Chihuahua made it safely across the stree but the truck did not escape injury as daddy had just bought a very large cup of coffee that he had been drinking and when he stopped, his hand squashed the cup thus making the lid come off and the coffee went flying on the seat, dashboard and carpet. Daddy was saying some really nasty stuff about the little dog as momma was trying to clean up the coffee with kleenex.

This was not the only injury to daddy's pretty new truck. For those of you who are waiting for me to tell you that I pooped or piddled in there I'm sorry to disapoint you as I did NOT. Instead, the humans went to look at a piece of property in New Mexico up in the moutains and daddy's truck got stuck on an unpaved road. When he was backing the truck down the mud road he did not see a large fallen tree and he ran over it. When he did this the dead tree came up and took some of the paint off of the right front fender.

Momma said daddy no longer has to worry about getting the first dent in the truck because he already has some battle scars - BOL.

Anyhow, I did manage to emit some really good stinky gases both to and from New Mexico that forced the humans to open the windows, but other than that, I was a very good boy.

Wow Puff I don't blame you for letting out some gas after the quick stop and the tree incident.

I hope you didn't do a cartwheel in the truck or anything.

Lil Bear and Ella I couldn't agree more. The humans are now going to concentrate on finding property in Arizona instead of New Mexico because momma isn't "feeling" New Mexico so there will be more trips in the future. The dealership where daddy bought the truck from told him to bring it in when he got back from New Mexico and they would detail it - and boy are they going to be shocked when they see how dirty and mess up it is - BOL, BOL.

Mister Jasper - All I can say is it was SCARRY!!!! The truck engine was reving and the wheels were spinning but the truck would not budge. It's a good thing the truck did not go off the road and into the revine once daddy was able to get it unstuck. The realtor knew as soon as this happened that he had lost the sale - BOL
