Yesterday was not one of my best nights. First the young man who was measuring our windows for shutters startled me and I responded by growling and snapping at him. A inch or two closer and he would have lost a piece of skin in his hand.
After he left, momma made some buttered popcorn and we all settled on top of the king sized bed to watch Survivor. Everything was going real well until daddy started playing too rough with me and I decided to try to take a chunk out of his hand too. Momma says I was lucky that I missed, but she cancelled the rest of family night and make Coco and I go back to the sewing room to bed. She then told daddy that he should have left me alone and not pestered me.
I just wanted to lay on the bed and go to sleep, but daddy likes to play real rough with Coco and he tried to do the same thing with me, but I make sure he knew that I did not like it at all.
Maybe I should go visit my buddy Josh for a while and let this all blow over. On second though I don't want those nasty quills in my face so maybe I should just stop trying to bite people.
Maybe if you had quills in your face people would think you were tough and not mess with you? I'll send a porcupine to your place and you can decide...
How can your Daddy play rough with you? You're not a Rottie or a Pit...or are you- hmmmm.
Josh, wondering how to defend my buddy
I bet you were just playing since dogs tend to bite each other when they play. I bet your Daddy wouldn't play rough with you if your Mommy sent him to the sewing room and let you stay on the comfy human bed. Why is the dog always blamed?
I don't know how to play with toys and neither does Burt, but we both play bit at the Dad's hands when he puts them under a blanket and moves them around.
